What it does
ROTA MDS is a GNSS-based manual steering assistant system that supports tractor operators during agricultural field operations.

By providing real-time visual guidance inside the cabin, it helps reduce overlaps and missed areas, improving operational efficiency and consistency.

ROTA MDS is designed as a retrofit solution and can be installed on existing mechanical tractors.

How it works

GNSS System

GNSS hardware 1 mounted on the tractor determines real-time position.

Mobil App

The ROTA MDS Android application runs on a tablet 2 inside the cabin

Precision guidance

Defines guidance lines and continuously calculates deviation between the planned path and the current position.

Assists the operator

Displays visual guidance information for the steering assistant and records field operation data.

Hardware + software relationship
ROTA MDS operates as an integrated hardware–software system.

GNSS positioning hardware provides location data, while the Android application serves as the in-cab user interface.

The application does not function independently and requires connected ROTA MDS hardware.
