Wearable Systems (Retrofit)


Retrofit systems, used to transform mechanical and manual equipment into smart equipment, play a significant role in modern agriculture. By integrating smart technologies into existing equipment, farmers can enhance their productivity, optimize resource utilization, and improve overall operational efficiency.

The current global economic environment has made retrofitting essential for sustainable agriculture. It allows farmers to maximize the efficiency of their existing equipment without the high cost of acquiring new smart equipment. Retrofitting provides a cost-effective solution for adopting smart agriculture technologies and reaping the benefits of precision farming with significantly lower upfront investments.

Various countries and regions actively utilize retrofitting to transform the agriculture sector. Developed countries such as the United States, Canada, and European countries play a leading role in adopting smart agriculture technologies, including retrofitting.

Therefore, in our agricultural technology activities, we prioritize the modernization of existing equipment to achieve our mission of "sustainable agriculture."

Remote Sensing and Artificial Intelligence


Remote sensing technologies, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), satellites, and indices like "NDVI" have revolutionized the field of agriculture. These technologies provide valuable insights into crop health, soil conditions, water availability, and overall farm management.

The integration of remote sensing data with artificial intelligence algorithms greatly enhances the potential for analysis and decision-making in agriculture. Artificial intelligence techniques such as machine learning and deep learning can analyze massive datasets obtained from remote sensing and extract valuable information.

The combination of remote sensing and artificial intelligence enables precise and targeted interventions in agriculture. Farmers can monitor their fields in real-time, identify problem areas, and take immediate action, reducing waste and optimizing resource allocation. This integration also facilitates the implementation of precision agriculture practices, where inputs such as fertilizers and pesticides can be applied precisely and efficiently, minimizing environmental impact.

Services and Consultancy


We provide services to farmers in addition to the sale of our products developed within the scope of agricultural technologies, utilizing our products and knowledge. The first part of these services involves conducting detailed assessments of the products owned by the farmers using technology. These services include analysis of plant growth, stress levels, nitrogen requirements, and more using remote sensing methods. Additionally, soil, weather, and tree sensors are used to obtain supporting and valuable data.

All these services are examined, interpreted, and reported by agricultural engineering consultants within our partner, Hayrabolu Önder Farmer Consultancy Associations, upon request.

If needed, comprehensive consultancy services are also provided to businesses and farmers.

Solutions and Products


Within the scope of UAV business development, our solutions that we have developed can be used independently of the industry. Our mission planning software, which was established in early 2016, was used in 2017 for autonomous flights to collect data from sensors placed on the ground during natural gas reserve research conducted in the Thrace region.

Later, a Tree Planting Assistant specifically developed for agriculture became a solution that speeds up and performs the crucial step of marking the locations for tree planting with GPS precision. This solution integrates with our mission planning software and utilizes our mission execution software running on a computer onboard the UAV.

In the field of aerial transportation, which has a history dating back to 2015, an Air Courier solution was developed using the same infrastructure.

The primary goal of all our solutions involving UAVs is to provide alternatives and sustainable solutions to processes that were previously impossible, posed risks to human health, or had high operational costs. In other words, our intention is not to undertake projects solely for the sake of including "UAV" in a sentence.

Services


Plant health, stress level, nitrogen deficiency, water level, plant growth and plant counting services are provided using remote sensing methods, primarily for field crops and trees. This service involves precise detection of the conditions of trees and field crops based on the analysis obtained through UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) and satellites, which is then verified by our agricultural consultants on the field.

With our product called Tree Planting Assistant (TPA), after a preliminary assessment of the orchards where tree planting will take place, virtual tree layout is carried out using the TPA planning software. Subsequently, the approved layout is marked swiftly with the help of te TPA-UAV.

Our Aerial Courier solution provides services in compliance with the permissions, licenses, and documents required by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation (SHGM). Within this framework, services can be provided in various capacities classified as UAV0, UAV1, and UAV2. The service involves the aerial transportation of various items such as food, documents, medications, and more between two fixed stations.

Services are also provided for volume measurement and the 3D modeling and GPS-based marking of lands and buildings, particularly for the construction sector.

With our deep IoT and embedded system expertise, solution-oriented mechanical know-how, and strong software knowledge, we engage in business development in various sectors, primarily in Agricultural Technologies.

Solutions and Consultancy


Within the scope of business development activities, we work on software, mechanical design, hardware development, IoT solutions, and embedded systems.

Our business development activities began in 2015 when we won the tender for aerial food delivery project initiated by Yemeksepeti. Through this tender, the foundations of our solution called Aerial Courier were laid. With our solution using UAV technology, we enabled the transportation of a 1.5kg food package to distances of 1-2km.

Under the framework of Aerial Courier, we developed an autonomous flight solution for data collection using sensors deployed over large areas for natural gas exploration in the Thrace region in 2017. This solution utilized the foundation of our mission planning software.

In 2020, we implemented the "Automated Steering System for Cultivator Machine Project" at TAT Gıda's facility in Mustafakemalpaşa. By transforming a tractor-pulled and fully mechanical cultivation equipment into an intelligent system through retrofitting, we successfully developed the Automatic Steering System for Cultivator Machine, which steers itself to avoid damaging tomato seedlings while performing the operator's task.

As a result of the needs arising from our agricultural activities, we designed and produced tree stress, soil, and weather sensors from PCB board design to software in hardware, cloud-based software, and mobile/web interfaces between 2018-2019.

To meet the needs of Turkish agriculture and farmers, we developed the first phase of our ROTA steering systems project, the ROTA Manual Steering System, which reduces waste and improves efficiency in tractor-based field operations. This product, including hardware, software, algorithms, and web interfaces, has been developed and produced entirely using our own resources as a local and national solution.
